Partner search
SME Rovsing Ireland Ltd. is seeking partners
Rovsing is a world leader in Independent Software Validation and Verification and the first ever successful validation of Class A software in Europe. Rovsing wish to join a consortium involving automotive OEMs and automotive Tier one suppliers with a view to developing solutions of tomorrow.

Seventh European Framework Programme
FP7 was launched on December 22, 2006. The associated calls for work programmes for the various thematic areas (there are 9) followed soon after. For transport (incl. aeronautics), there are currently 6 work programme calls for research collaboration, namely:

Should you review and decide to join these work programmes, please contact Kamal Parker (details above) and the contact persons/organisations for the programme directly. Think carefully about your contributions and discuss this with the consortium members of that work programme. Kamal's role as NCP is to facilitate and assist with this process including the brainstorming of your role and strategy for engagement.

If there is nothing obviously relevant to the first set of work programme calls, do not despair. There are bound to be several work programme calls during the life of FP7 (2007-2013). Look at the aims and objectives of the R&D under Aeronautics (e.g cleaner/greener skies, passenger safety, faster turnaround of air passengers, optimised aircraft design and manufacture, etc) and identify areas of collaboration and excellence. Thereafter, commence the process of discussion and interaction with Kamal Parker, and European entities (research and educational institutions, SME, industry partners) towards formulating a proposal. This can and may serve as a precursor to the next call of work programmes, if there is sufficient European support. In other words, remain vigilant, informed and pro-active.

In general, explore the latest calls and download the comprehensive document outlining the details of the call. Here one will also find the necessary documentation for submitting a proposal.

In general also, one may find a project partner.

Find Other National Contact Points from other nations.

A word of advise: Engagement requires a multi-pronged strategy and remember that a project requires a European lead partner. One cannot merely submit a written application to a project or in fact submit their own way-ward project. Involvement is a result of an interactive, consultative process.
