Daan du Toit appointed as Senior Science and Technology Representative in Europe

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is pleased to announce the appointment of Daan du Toit as its Senior Representative in Europe, a position based in Brussels, which he took up on 1 October 2006. ESASTAP will continue to benefit from Daan's new role as he continues to contribute further to the strengthening of South Africa's strategic science and technology partnership with the European Union and its Member States.

We wish Daan every success in his new position abroad as he builds on the solid foundation he helped to establish both locally and abroad.

Mmboneni Muofhe has been appointed to succeed Daan as Manager of the Unit: Strategic Partnerships under which ESASTAP falls.
