The IBF was launched in 2017 and comprises of representatives from the IBF member countries and observers (for more about the IBF, please visit the following website: https://www.bioeconomy-forum.org/).

The Forum is aimed at providing a flexible multilateral mechanism for global partners to deliberate on common thematic challenges pertaining to research and innovation and policy alignment related to the bioeconomy.

The activities of the IBF are implemented through the Working Groups (viz.; Food Systems Microbiome; ICT in Precision Food Systems; Plant Health; Forest Bioeconomy; and Biorefineries), which culminate in an annual IBF Plenary Meetings.

This two day event will be split into the following sessions:
